2nd International Medical Students’ Congress of Bucharest

The Medical Students’ Society of Bucharest (SSMB) is one of Romania’s biggest student associations, having approximately 1000 volunteers and more than 50 ongoing projects and campaigns. Every year since 2004, the SSMB has successfully organised the Medical Students’ Congress, gathering great numbers of enthusiastic students and young physicians to both share and develop their medical knowledge. At first, for 20 editions, the Congress was designed for Romanian participants and last year, in our attempt to create a true medical community, we began our journey as an International Congress. This year’s edition is organised in the honour of Romanian Academician Victor Babeș, one of the greatest names in modern microbiology.
